There’s no better way to make the most of your home than with a stylish outdoor garden. As gardens increasingly become an extension of the home, there are plenty of options to accessorise your personal piece of the great outdoors. Dermot O’ Neill introduces plenty of food for thought from small items such as candles to bigger items including fencing and stone work, provided by Ace Fencing and Living Stone, both on site at Rathwood.

Easy walking on the Rath Wood Forest Trail

The Woodland Walks project is the first of its kind in Ireland and is a partnership between Coillte, a landowner (Rathwood) and a local community group.  There is a short wheelchair / child’s buggy walk to a lake and a longer looped walk through the 185 acre Wood.  Access to all walks is from Rathwood’s car park.

With the furniture and Interiors shop and food hall now open, Rathwood is definitely a place for all to visit this year.
